Drama Llama was created to express yourself everyday and be as colorful and dramatic as you wish. Created at first as a sticker app on Apple, DL has evolved into much more: llama-licous apparel, paper products, and stickers.

The Creator

Always quick with a pun, Deanna likes to keep things short, funny and full of irony. She has a Graphic Design degree from UW-Stout (Menomonie, WI). She's a dog-mom to a fluffy black Pomeranian named Uggs and also....enjoys metal detecting. Her favorite saying is “Never did I ever think in a million years that I would love llamas so much.”

The Beginning

Drama Llama began from a college Graphic Design project during Deanna’s senior year circa 2015. After being awarded “Best of Show” she knew she needed to make Drama Llama a real life brand. People always asked her "Why a llama??" Her response: "Ummmm....because it rhymed with Drama." Every single design is her own creation and, TBH, is made with love.

The Development of the App

Searching for a developer was hard. Deanna knew she needed someone who understood her brand mission just as much as she did. She randomly stumbled upon Blake, a freelance developer from Seattle. They just clicked, and in no time, the app launched in October 2016.

Children’s MN

Giving back has always been one of Deanna’s things. She wanted to help children who have been affected by cancer because it just breaks her heart. So, she created a “Kick Cancer” sticker pack and donated a portion of the profits to Children’s MN. She also visited Children’s and played BINGO with The Dude with her intern Jamie.
